What to expect from a mobile massage in Colchester

Booking your first mobile massage in Colchester? It’s natural to wonder how it works when a therapist comes to your home. Here’s what happens from the moment we arrive to the moment we pack away, so you can relax before we’ve even started.

Before we arrive

Once your booking request is confirmed by email, all you need is a quiet, warm room with enough space to set up a massage couch and walk around it, roughly 9ft × 4ft. A living room or spare bedroom works well. You might like to turn your phone off and let anyone else at home know not to interrupt.

Setting up

We bring everything: a comfortable, adjustable massage couch, fresh linens, towels, high-quality massage oils and relaxing music. Setup takes a few minutes, and you’re welcome to play your own music if you prefer.

A short consultation

On your first visit we’ll have a brief, confidential chat about your general health, any areas of tension and any injuries or medical conditions. This makes sure your massage is safe and tailored to you.

During your massage

A full body massage eases muscle tension and helps you switch off. If anything feels too firm or too light, just say and we will adjust it.

“Thoroughly professional and amazing at getting my tension points.”

Susan, Wivenhoe

After your massage

This is where a mobile massage really pays off. There’s no drive home through Colchester traffic and no rushing back to the car. Simply stay where you are, have a glass of water and enjoy the feeling. Allow 10 to 20 minutes on top of your massage time for setup, consultation and packing away.
